Moving Forward

December 5th, 2023, is a date etched into my memory as the day I bid farewell to chemotherapy. The physical and emotional toll of the treatment had been immense, yet with each session, I felt a growing strength within. As the last drop of medication entered my veins, I couldn't help but reflect on the battles fought and the victories achieved. It was a significant milestone—a turning point towards recovery.

Facing the Decision for a Double Mastectomy: January 9th, 2024, arrived with a mix of anticipation and apprehension. The decision to undergo a double mastectomy was not taken lightly, but it was a crucial step in my journey towards healing. The surgery symbolized a proactive approach to reducing the risk of cancer recurrence and regaining control over my health. The support of family and the guidance of healthcare professionals became pillars of strength during this challenging decision-making process. I continue to heal and can't wait to get back to "myself" again.
